HOW TO: PERFECTION! Beauty Standard DO’S & DONT’S originated as a project critiquing American beauty culture and it’s portrayal through media. Shortly after this project, Tatum became obsessed with this character and the process of transformation that she goes through in order to create her. This character has allowed her to explore her own identity and question who the beauty and makeup industry represents.
